Nandigram is a traditional upazila of Bogra district. This upazila is known as rice reservoir. Besides, there are more than five-thousand ponds in the public and private sector. Fisheries farming is very common. Economically the common people of Nandigram upazila are relatively better. However, there is a shortage of modern citizen facilities due to the presence of Singra upazila of Natore in one corner of the district and due to being a small upazila of Bogra district of Nandigram upazila. Besides, most of the roads in different upazilas were cut and the communication system in the rainy season became ineffective. Geographically the government offices do not have the right. On one side and the people being tall, the people are traveling to the upazila headquarters for a long time for government services, which became more difficult due to the road sickness during the monsoon. It is comparatively backward in Bogra district at the rate of this upazila education rate. Nandigram in the context of this situation. It seems that this web portal will play a pivotal role in making public services accessible to the people of the upazila. At the union level, digital centers and union portals are providing full service. As a result from the union opportunity for the services of different departments of the upazila has been created. Apart from this, all the information available about Nandigram from any corner of the world is available. With the implementation of Vision 2021 of the present government as a part of the creation of digital Bangladesh, a development tidal wave of Nandigram upazila and the upazila administration wil always try to ensure all types of citizen facilities of the general public. All cooperation and advice will be taken seriously.
