Nandigram Upazila (Bogra district) area: 265.47 sq km Location: 24 ° 35' to 24 ° 48'N north latitudes and 89 ° 08'E 89 ° 21' east longitude. Border: Shahjahanpur and Kahalu upazilas on the north, singra upazila on the south, Sherpur (bogra) upazila on the east, Adamdighi, Raninagar and Singra upazilas on the west.
Population 168155; Males 85690, female 82465 Muslim 146398, Hindu 21683, Buddhist 8 and others 66. Indigenous communities such as Santal, Oraon etc. are inhabited in this upazila.
Water bodies Main rivers: Nagar, Bhadrabati.
Nandigram Thana was formed in 1932 and it was turned into an upazila in 1983.
